WHAT WE DO TO HELP

OUR APPROACH TO TUNING UP YOUR COMPUTER

OUR COMPUTER TUNEUP PROGRAM

The first thing we do with any computer tune up is perform multiple virus and malware scans.  Malware and viruses can cause havoc on a computer. Some of the symptoms include pop-ups, browsers opening suspicious web pages, and your computer running much slower than usual. Virus removal will solve those problems.

OPERATING SYSTEM UPDATES

Having your Windows or Mac operating system up to date is generally recommended as there are usually security patches and performance improvements contained in the updates. We’ll check for these updates and make sure they are installed.

JUNK CLEANUP

We will clean out all of the junk that builds up over time and is just taking up space and resources from your computer. This “junk” typically causes the computer to run much slower draining important resources, but it can also cause the computer to freeze requiring you to reboot constantly.

In some cases, the computer performance can be greatly enhanced by computer upgrades to the computer hardware such as increasing memory, or our favorite services, which is replacing a hard drive with a solid state drive. We’ll discuss these with you after we perform our initial analysis.

SERVICE OPTIONS

Standard Tuneup

The standard tuneup includes the above detailed tuneup program. We will cleanup the computer following our normal protocol and the turnaround time is typically 24-48 hours excluding the weekends.

Advanced Tuneup

Depending upon the severity of the computer issues, we may recommend backing up the computer and re-installing the operating system and possibly upgrading hardware as well.
